Summary: This is a nice house in a quiet neighborhood, close to highway and malls etc. The bathroom in the basement is very nice and the property is well kept. My issues started before arriving as the owner asked for my IDs and called me to ask me why I was traveling and a few other questions (felt like talking to border services). I think they wanted to be welcoming but the amount of messages and questions was overwhelming. on arrival, found one of the bedrooms being locked from inside and it took me 30+ messages to convince the owner to take some action and they did send a locksmith around 11 PM. This locked room was not cleaned before my arrival, had hair in the bed and some food (rice) on the floor. That left a sour taste in my mouth as I had to wash the sheets at night and went to bed pretty late. The host is responsive, but didnt take the opportunity to go above and make my stay any better other than an apology over text. Its an old house, kitchen had ants everywhere almost everyday. the fuse to the upper floor went out 2 times during my stay. Needless to stay, this was a good stay overall. If you have a lot of patience and appetite for doing some cleaning and housekeeping yourself. you will enjoy it. Average experience overall. definitely not 1 star worthy. hence 3 stars.
