Positive: Very clean. Exceptionally well equipped kitchen. Netflix available for guests at no extra charge. Good internet.

Negative: The bed/mattress in the second room on the upper floor needs replacing. There was some rubbish scattered in the front garden, but after contacting the host it was cleaned up. There are also lots of stairs.

Positive: The house is wonderful, everything as described, very clean and hyggelig. We loved the story of Jensina Hansen and being allowed to have a look at the photo-books. There is a waterfall, there are sheeps, there i the ocean - all visible from the upper floor. We went on a small evening walk to the ocean - it is very near.

Negative: As my husband is 2,04m tall, he couldn't stand straight in some places of the house (e.g. entrance, kitchen). Depends on where you are from: the fees for money transfer to pay für the rent are high.

Positive: Fabulous location. Cool history of the area and the home/family itself. Great view of the sheep from the glassed wall on the third floor. Great touch of having glassed in and lit wall from 1500s in the dining room. Only hot tub we used in all of the Faroe Islands.

Negative: Only negative for me was the stale baked in cigarette smell most evident on the first floor.
