Summary: Kuru property manager, Charles was brilliant. He greeted us at the airport with Ais (flowers) and transferred us. We saw him everyday and he was happy to help with anything we needed.

Summary: Amazing staff, lovely site and pool, Eco friendly. Property due for maintenance but don't let that put you off staying. Only a few units so lovely and quiet and a great base if you have transport to explore the island.

Summary: Charles and his staff were super friendly and accommodating, we wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend to others. We preferred the quiet and comfort of being slightly isolated - we hired a car from the property which enabled us to get out and about the island. Pickup and drop off at the airport, clean spacious rooms, outside patio area, beach access and swimming pool were amazing and the ability for a late checkout (given our flight out was 5pm) made for a exceptional stay. Thankyou Charles for making our stay so comfortable.

Summary: The new manager - Charles - is what makes this little place by the airport great. He's friendly, polite and able to sort out seemingly anything on the island for his guests way faster than island time.

Summary: We absolutely loved the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Great check in, recommendations, booked trips and rentals for us. Helped us with a difficult situation and flight changes etc. absolutely loved the pool. Great view of the lagoon. Nice quiet place. Very clean and tidy, close to Boat Shed for great food and Koru Cafe too.

Summary: Quiet and comfortable, all conveniences including aircon in place, good for such a remote location. No wifi on site. No swimming beach on site, nearest is about 20 minute walk away. Onsite manager Charles very helpful and knowlegable with many local contacts and tips. Staff friendly and obliging

Summary: Reasonable place in a lovely setting, not what we expected though. Basic and simple, but was suffice for us. Although self catering, room wasn't really geared up for it, just a fridge, but again good enough for us. If staying here, I would recommend having transport to get around as restaurants and beach are a 10 min walk. We were advised not to swim in the lagoon by kuru club as it's murky, and there's a possibility of sting rays and puffer fish, ooru beach is a 10 min walk (by the nearest restaurants too). Staff are great, relaxed and more than happy to help, thank you.

Summary: Well ever seen Faulty Towers , the location is isolated so make sure you organise some sort of transport as the kuru club advertises cars/bikes but none available , the lagoon is beautiful but not swimmable , the pool is fantastic , the staff who were on whilst Rupe was away were very helpful in every way , they tried there best and served a wonderful breakfast everyday ,the rooms are comfortable but a bit of poor design with height of shower head for me at 6ft 4 , anything you need the staff are happy to oblidge ,was fairly quite whilst we were there so it was good , would be quite noisey if full Overall it was an experience we won’t forget , you have to remember you are on a island in the South Pacific and things happen on island time and island ways
