Summary: Firstly check in was fine and young lady on reception was very pleasant. That’s the good news. Room was very cold on arrival. Mattress had a ‘topper’ which was too small for the bed. Restaurant was fine, but again room was freezing so food was cold in minutes. But the real problem was not the hotel but the totally ignorant guests who repeatedly rang the night call bell 11+ times between 0040 and 0230, who slammed doors, who couldn’t be bothered to lower their voices and who it seems were in the room above mine. Room 01 is convenient but right next to the night door so if that’s where you’re out, you’re completely at the mercy of other people’s consideration or lack thereof. I eventually gave up on sleep and left at 0530. Convenient location and nice staff but awful stay
