Positive: Great property, quirky rooms and fabulous dinner and bar. Quite pricey but v quiet this time of year. Breakfast is delivered in a picnic box outside your room each morning. Staff were excellent and the property unusual but classy.

Negative: Not a huge amount to do in the vicinity but who cares just chill! TV has no streaming or satellite and at this level of hotel is a little disappointing.

Summary: Different, quality, great food and superb staff!

Positive: The food and drink at dinner was exceptionally good and even better value for money too! Especially accommodating staff after a long drive from London with 2 young children

Negative: Problematic air conditioning overnight, and breakfast back in the restaurant would have been preferred to room service option if possible

Positive: Wonderful! Beautifully renovated, funky deco, the super friendly staff and owners full of tips about the area, the old motorcycles inside the abbaye, the stone pool, the food in the gastronomic menu ( but pricey ) brasserie food was not as good ( slate of cheese and charcuterie of lower quality and pricey ) breakfast delivered to your door in a british style basket was great, great rooms and beds, not to forget Lilou the friendly large St Bernard dog. The bar and cocktails were awsome! We loved it!
