Positive: Quiet, green setting with garden views - a well-equipped, nicely decorated place and an ideal overnight stop on the way south. The centre is a short walk away; we even caught the Bastille Day celebrations.
Negative: The bed is on the small side, and the room gets warm during a heatwave - there's no air conditioning. Fine for one night, but worth knowing in summer. Everything else was spot on for a stopover.
Summary: Lovely quiet overnight stop in Marans.
