LA 69 Holiday Home is located within easy reach of Harare city centre and is a nice and updated property with tastefully furnished and equipped 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen, a dining room, a living room and enclosed verandah with a built-in bar. The house has a well-maintained garden with flowered rockeries, fruit trees and a flourishing vegetable garden. There is a resident caretaker and a Guest Support Assistant to help take care of guestsโ needs.
The house has three bedrooms including a main en-suite, a large lounge, separate dining room, large kitchen with built-in cupboards and an enclosed veranda which functions as an entertainment room with a fully fitted traditional bar. The sliding doors can be opened to provide an open veranda atmosphere particularly on hot summer days.
Outside the house, is a two-roomed domestic workersโ quarters where the caretaker resides. There is a paved driveway leading to a single open car-port. The house sits on land of approximately three-quarters of an acre in size and has a large garden with many features including well-flowered rockeries, bushes, hedges and borders and garden lights. There is an abundance of trees including prolific fruit trees such as mangoes and avocados. There is also a vegetable garden at the back.
The house is served by a prolific borehole which provides clean water. The house is also equipped with a solar back-up power system providing guests with full lights and limited electrical power in the event of national power grid failure. There is a solar geyser which provides hot water at all times.
Various conveniences and security equipment have been installed including backup solar power, borehole water, Wi-Fi, DSTV, security lights, electric fence and burglar alarm. We are also keeping a maxi-cab (5-seater) pick-up truck at the house and this is available for hire to interested guests.
