Positive: We absolutely loved everything about La Bastide du Murier. We stayed as a couple with friends and rented all four rooms, creating our own private retreat. The beautiful pool and surrounding area became our peaceful haven while we attended a nearby wedding in the charming town of Cotignac. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, arranging taxis and catering thoughtfully to dietary needs, including gluten and dairy free options. Each morning we were treated to a stunning traditional French breakfast in the conservatory – homemade bread, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad and more delicious food than we could ever finish. It was a real highlight of the stay. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches like a good hairdryer and even a clothes steamer available. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved waking up each day and stepping out onto the serene poolside patio.
Negative: Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like – everything exceeded our expectations. Just a care point for anyone travelling by car - go slowly on the Chemin du Gourlon road as there are some hidden bumps.

Positive: Our stay was nothing short of perfect. The property was tranquil, beautifully decorated and hosted impeccably. Marine & Raphael were attentive and helpful, whilst also providing privacy throughout our stay. The breakfast offering was really good, with most of it being homemade by Marine herself (and she is a fabulous baker!). We stayed here for a wedding and Marine was helpful in arranging Taxis and assisting us with a car rental mishap.
Negative: There was nothing I disliked about our stay.

Positive: Very nice stay in a beautiful setting with a lovely swimming pool. Excellent breakfast with attention to detail. Very nice hosts. Cotignac is approximately 40 minutes walk away and is a lovely village with a lot of restaurants and shops.

Positive: Lovely B&B near Cotignac. The owners are a super nice couple. Breakfast is served individually every morning in front of the apartment. Clean, individually decorated rooms. Nice small pool. In the middle of nowhere, very very quiet. Cotignac is a 5 minute drive though. Very “French” and personal experience. Air condition! Parking is provided on site. If you’re there, try the restaurant Clos des Vignes, which is 5 mins from the B&B with the car. Better make a reservation to get the seats close to the vineyard!
Negative: Not a negative, but you need to be aware that it’s a private run B&B, not a big chain hotel, and it’s not in the city, but somewhere in between fields and hills and trees. Access road is tiny. Provence can get very hot in summer, and you better prepare for those mosquitoes (but they are everywhere in Provence in summer!).
