Positive: Quiet place between the vineyards. The accommodation is furnished with a good taste and it's very spacious. We had a communication problems with hosts, they did not reply to any of our questions... We also found very weird the setup of the main room (open space bedroom and living room) where the bathroom including toilet has no ceiling and is connected to the whole space....

Positive: A beautiful house in a tranquil region of France. The property was perfect for travelling with a young family with a lovely garden to explore, outdoor toys / sand pit, chickens, and of course the pool. The host was accommodating, friendly, and kind, enjoying a glass of cognac with us in the evening. They even allowed us pick some eggs from the chickens in the morning.

Negative: Only that we didn't have the chance to stay longer due to travelling on elsewhere

Positive: Amazing, always helpfull and very understanding host.

Negative: Only one small pan in the huge kitchen, no wooden utensils to use your own teflon frying pan, no microwave. Also bathroom and living room/ bedroom is separated from the bathroom only by low wall not reaching the cealing, which means any visit in toilet is being heard by everyone, annoying especially at night.

Positive: The gite is a very large 1 bedroom flat adjacent to the owner's house. The outdoor space is like a fairytale, fantastic garden with loads of different areas to check, including the chicken. The dogs loved the space. Very quiet. A very short drive to local supermarket, pharmacy, etc. A great base to explore Charente.
