Positive: This was an exceptional stay, with the personal efforts, kindness and generosity of Bertand and his sister. We were served an unforgettable dinner as we arrived late, followed up by a beautifully set table and food for breakfast. The location and views was the most beautiful we experienced during our travels, and the history of the property is told wonderfully by Bertand. The location provides wonderful walks, and the local pastry shop was one of the best. You would be missing out if you dont visit this place.
Negative: It would be better if we stayed longer! As small feedback, we didnt get the message that dinner was prepared, which we enjoyed very much. It would have been good to know the cost of dinner as we needed to pay by cash, and it was lucky we had some cash to cover, but we were limited after our wallet was stolen in paris, including most of our cash. (welcome to Paris!)
Summary: The most outstanding experience, mostly due to the hosts, Bertand and his sister.

Positive: Extraordinary location right in the seine. Utter peace and quiet. Bertrand was a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. He offered us a cool bottle if cidre on arrival which went quickly. Our dog had nis very best stay in france and lovely walk from doorstep.
