Positive: It was quite unique as it was a hut in the new Caledonian style. The host had built it himself, the other co-host his wife had decorated the place. We came to a beautiful hut with some origami swans on our tiowels which was quite a nice touch. There was a small kitchenette alongside the hut which had all the kitchen facilities so we were able to make coffee as well as dinner one night. we had a great breakfast made by the host. Most of the produce was grown by the host themselves.
Negative: We loved our stay, so no complaints.

Positive: The helpful, service flexability and friendly nature of our hosts, there smiling welcome and there being available but not overseeing. Our expectations were met because we understood we would be staying at an off grid natural place and not expecting 5 star hotel/home style accomodation. Located halfway between Noumea and wonderful central NC beaches and only 19 minutes by car to airport.
Negative: Somewhat hard to find when arring after dark. The Mozzies at meal and shower times. Lack of oven or microwave (most frozen meals require oven heating). Having to pay cash.
Summary: Great place to experience off grid or minimal living, went home happy, chilled and mod-life detoxed.

Positive: A real glamping experience! Satomi is a wonderful host and provides delicious breakfast each morning, with most ingredients home made and sourced from their garden. The hot tub under the skies is great.
Negative: Personally I found the composting toilet a challenge and the hut is very dark so bring your torch.
