Positive: The building is nicely restored. The room was nice too. Hot water in shower without waiting for water to heat up. The staff are very personable and helpful. Parking available and located off the street behind the building.
Negative: Booked this stay a couple months in advance. Two days prior to the stay I was notified that there would be a special dinner with a DJ that would last until 2am. At this point it was too late to find alternative reservations. We were put in a corner room that helped muffle some of the noise but it was still very loud until 1:30am (the event ended a little early. I should have been informed of this planned activity when the booking was made. I would have changed the reservation. The rating would have been much higher if there hadn't been loud noise late into the night.
Summary: Very nice restored house.
