Positive: Restful location. A rare opportunity to be in a rural location without blaring music from the neighbour's or without being woken by a chorus of dogs, or roosters. Andres arranged the taxi services for us and the rates were reasonable. A good place to relax after long term travel.

Positive: It has a nice garden and full of birds

Negative: Our room was in the attic where you cannot stand. It was very uncomfortable and was not mentioned the the booking description. It is 3kms away from center which looks not far away but you would need to walk uphill every time you want to go to the center or call a taxi most of which stops 300 meters before because of road conditions. The owner recommended a pizza place which was a costly place and most probably the worst pizza I ate in a long time ( we came to know later that Mindo is full of cheap restaurants with amazing food)

Positive: Beautiful place in the middle of the rainforest. A place for people to reconnect. Andres is a great host.

Negative: I wouldn't recommend the attic room if you are above 1.50cm, it will hurt your back after 2 days.

Positive: Great stay, comfortable and peaceful, owner is very friendly and helps with booking taxi to the accommodation $4, it is also a walk of 35-45 mins to the town along a road near the jungle. Great place to relax and listen the wildlife around you

Positive: A beautiful accommodation, the loveliest we’ve stayed in in Ecuador, and for a great price. Well equipped kitchen, quite social and very peaceful. The owner, Andres, was very helpful and accommodating and he had a very friendly dog too. The shower was also lovely and hot. Wish we could’ve stayed here longer!

Negative: It is a little out of the centre of Mindo, but you can either walk the 35-45 minute path through the jungle, or Andres will quickly and cheaply get you a trusted driver to take you the whole way for $4
