Positive: The stay was delightful. The host were very nice and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. The home was fun and very spacious. It was clean and accessible. The location was excellent.
Negative: The hosts met us at the rental, but there was some misunderstanding on our part about which door to knock, and the hosts did not respond to our attempts to communicate via the phone number and emails provided.

Positive: Great location - just minutes’ walk to everything. Lovely large garden area. Spacious living room/games room. Very clean throughout. Very quiet, even though very central. We had anticipated parking issues, but the owner gave us permits that worked in spaces a few minutes’ walk away. To load and unload luggage and groceries, you can park momentarily in a paying car park directly across the road. Great restaurants, cafes etc a short walk from the property.
Negative: No second bathroom was available, which had clearly been booked by us, and was in our confirmation email. There is another bedroom en-suite, with a separate entrance, which I’m sure we were also meant to have, but it was already rented to someone else, so our complaint was pointless. (I notice that since we booked, the property only mentions one bathroom, but had listed two.) The one shower between five, was not satisfactory, and was also was not very private, as you had to walk through the room to get one of the bedrooms, or to use the separate loo or sink. The shower door has clear glass, so that was no go. There were three bedrooms - we were to have four - and two of the three were completely unsuitable for adults. In one, the two single beds were very small and near the ground, had no private door - just a curtain, and the other had a double bed, but small, and too near the ground also. In the second bedroom, the attic roof came right to the floor, in a sharp angle, so it was impossible to stand up, on one side of the bed. This made getting in and out of bed a contortionist feat. I still have a stiff neck. The bedside lights could only be switched off on one side, and with the main light on also. Pointless. The seating in the living room area is really uncomfortable too. The washing machine turned out to be in the shared courtyard area, which some people might not mind.
Summary: Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the location and space over-rode the issues we had.

Positive: Location fabulous. House well equipped and very comfortable. Hosts very helpful - even came in mid-week when we couldn't get TV projector to work.
Negative: We needed and booked this as a four bedroom house, and had an email trail with the owner in which she explained that she would let us use a fourth room that was separate from the main house. On our arrival, this room was not available and one of our group had to sleep on a mattress on the floor.
Summary: Very well equipped and comfortable house in a brilliant location.
