Positive: Loved that the property is right in front of the beach. The rooms are neat and well maintained.
Negative: The air conditioning unit was faulty and was not cooling properly. Despite repeated requests we were told that it is working and that because the sun is coming right in front of our room we are feeling the same however the A/C was definitely not working.

Positive: Location was great near restaurants and beaches. We had no problem with the AC despite the previous reviews.
Negative: The room was not fully cleaned on arrival. The floor still had some left hair and dirt from previous guests. The shower has a weird smell every night. The biggest disappointment is that we have used the safe and weโ€™ve found my fiancรฉ ringโ€™s case broken. Fortunately nothing was stolen but is still pretty sad.
Summary: Will not come back again.

Negative: The communication between staff weren't handled well. Over 2 hours we didn't get the suitcase. (When the receptionist said the suitcase will be delivered to the room immediately. )since it was a day of load shed phone wasnโ€™t working. So informed the guy at lรช union estate lodge and he had called the reception for it. Though it still didnโ€™t arrive. After waiting nearly for more than two hours, in the end, mmy son had to go all the way from le union estate to the reception for our luggage's to be delivered. ( which the medicine was packed and needed it. The staff was aware my other son had seek a doctor in that early morning) very unfortunate because the staff The communication between staff weren't handled well. Over 2 hours we didn't get the suitcase. Informed the guy at the place, but wasn't carried out. (Phone wasn't working due to load shed) in the end, my son had to go all the way to the receptionist from le union estate for our luggage's to be delivered. ( which the medicine was packed and needed it and they knew my other son had to seek a doctor in that early morning) yet one manager apologized only after I informed about the issue. The staff did not raise this to the upper management on that day because no apologies were made which gave me a surprise. It was unpleasant, because we stayed there every year for past few years. The staff were nice taking care of my son while I had to seek a dr, but the vigilance were lacking.
Summary: Very unfortunate because it was good last year.
