Positive: A beautiful and tranquil setting a 30 min drive outside of La Fortuna. The chalet was delightful. Tastefully decorated, with lovely toiletries,super comfortable bed and lots of space. We loved the balcony with its view and hammock! Out of the 3 nights we stayed, we ate dinner twice there because the food was so good. The breakfasts were also great. Lots of choice, tasty and good coffee. We were given good recommendations for what to do in the area. We would totally recommend this place!

Positive: This place is a beautiful stay. When I arrived I didn’t quite realise it was 45 minutes from Arenal volcano which was the main attraction for me and my wife. It didn’t matter! Actually it was nice to go somewhere after a long day that was remote and peaceful. The facilities are incredible. Great room with a hammock and super comfy bed. Swimming pool was great too! Restaurant was exceptional. Lastly the service from start to finish was the best thing about the stay. Every member of staff were brilliant! 10/10

Positive: "During my stay at La Finca Lodge, it was just what I expected — peaceful, with a relaxing atmosphere that gives you space to rest, yet with activities readily available, like the ATVs, which we enjoyed even in the rain. I highly recommend it. The staff is excellent, and their recommendations are spot-on, always aiming to make sure guests enjoy their time both inside and outside the property. An excellent place to spend your time."

Positive: The property was beautiful! So much to explore on site with lots of wildlife! We saw tons of birds including macaws and toucans. We also saw a bunch of dart frogs. The room was perfect, private and comfortable. The food was excellent and we ended up eating at the restaurant every night because it was so good. The staff were incredible, so helpful and kind. It was sad to leave because it felt like we had been friends for a long time. Can’t say enough good things about La Finca!
Negative: The in down side to our stay was that we booked the two bedroom villa because of the gorgeous soaker tub. However, when we arrived we found out it was broken and couldn’t be used. No one’s fault at all. The staff tried to arrange for it to be fixed but it wasn’t before we left. There was a hot tub on site but it never really got very hot, which didn’t matter so much on the hot days.

Positive: La Finca lodge is one of its kind! It was a really pleasure to stay here. The personal is really friendly and helpful. The property is beautiful and allows you to spot various animals. Everything was cleaned very well and the laundry service is great. The breakfast is delicious and the restaurant is amazing! For us the restaurant was the best of La Fortuna! The veggies are brought fresh from the land and everything is very taste. We absolutely recommend this for your stay!
