Positive: Very nice B&B made up of a beautifully renovated farmhouse, with a large garden and very clean swimming pool. The breakfast was delicious with homemade products (jams, yogurt, ...) and à la minute prepared treats. Five days a week (not on Tuesdays and Thursdays), guests can enjoy a delicious table d'hôtes dinner for a reasonable price, but unfortunately we stayed there on a Tuesday. The owners made an excellent suggestion to go to the little village of Châtelaillon-Plage along the Atlantic Ocean where we enjoyed having dinner with our feet in the sand. Our room was very nice, excellent mattress, great bathroom and very silent air conditioning unit.

Negative: The owners show very little flexibility regarding timing. Example: check-in time is between 17:00 and 18:00 We arrived at 18:30 after having driven almost 800 Km from Belgium. The owners insisted that we visit their B&B with them, so by 18:45 we arrived by the beautiful swimming pool and told them we wanted to take a quick dip after having driven for 9 hours, but they refused claiming that they were closing the pool at 19:00. That was very disappointing. Another example: breakfast is between 08:30 and 09:30, and then you have to check out before 10:00, which gives you no time at all to enjoy the facilities like the swimming pool, again. When you are on vacation, you want to relax and enjoy a nice place like this one, and not be subject to strict timing like at work. Wi-Fi is not working properly !

Summary: Beautiful B&B with nice rooms and a delicious breakfast, but owners should be a bit more flexible
