Positive: The room is comfortable with a very good mattress and good temperature control. Location is very central in Collioure - which comes with pros and cons. Staff was very present and attentive.

Negative: Central location means being on top of a busy street, with restaurants noise at night and truck deliveries in the morning. Inside the hotel doors banging can also be annoying.

Positive: Staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Clear efforts to respect ecological welfare. Restaurant thoroughyl deserves its reputation for excellence - service and cuisine both outstanding.

Negative: I made the mistake of visiting a popular holiday resort during school vacation so failed to avoid overcrowding and congestion. But the good quality of the hotel was adequate compensation and not affected by those hindrances.

Positive: Fantastic value for money at this friendly hotel. The room was warm and comfortable, the coffee machine was a bonus. The staff were welcoming and helpful and kind enough to lend us a phone charger as we had forgotten ours.

Negative: There was no shower curtain
