Negative: we were charged to once we had left for coffee which was in the room ( assumed it was complimentary , as there was no sign to say it would be charged )

Positive: Wonderful property in a beautiful town. Hotel was comfortable and we loved the outlook from the room over the valley.

Negative: There was a drain smell emanating from the ensuite bathroom . I guess that’s not unusual in old places but it was quite unpleasant.

Positive: Lovely location with some rooms having fantastic views. Our flight was changed by 11 hours at the last minute resulting in us arriving at the property much earlier than expected, however the staff were very accommodating allowing us to leave our luggage. We had a lovely meal at the restaurant, not much choice for vegetarians but the mushroom risotto was really creamy and full of flavour.

Summary: Lovely hotel, would not hesitate to visit again.
