You will be welcome at "the sea is in the woods" in the small fishing village of Trieux de Penhoat (which means the end of the wood in Breton) where Philippe and Marie will welcome you under the centuries-old oaks, just a condition for you , before exploring the 700 hectares of woods and heaths of the "coastal conservatory"

The cottage is very accessible by train TER GUINGAMP PAIMPOL, you can use the TER to make mixed walks (go hiking or cycling, return by TER), in the direction of Pontrieux or Paimpol, another very popular mixed ride: The vapor of the Trieux (small steam train) in one direction; The ferryman of the Trieux (Excurtion fishing boat), in the other direction.
Many hikes, horseback or bicycle can be done directly from the house (GR 34, greenway).
The most emblematic tourist sites are nearby: the castle of LA ROCHE JAGU as well as the ABBEY OF BEAUPORT at 15mn, the "pink granite coast" at 30mn, the pier for the BREHAT archipelago, the "furrow of talbert "at 20mn and of course the port of PAIMPOL at 7mn.
LE GÎTE DE LA GOÉLETTE: for 4 people, charges included, no sheets or cleaning. It includes on the ground floor a large room (fitted kitchen, induction hob, dishwasher and freezer), a lounge area with sofa-bed, a TV set and a bathroom-toilet with shower equipped with jets and equipped with a washing machine. Upstairs, 2 bedrooms (with a 140x200 bed, 220x240 duvets provided) and toilets on the landing. Outside, a private terrace with garden furniture and barbecue.
Baby equipment on request, sheets and towels provided at an additional cost € 15 per room, cleaning option, € 30 for the cottage.

I am passionate about history: reader of "archeology" for 20 years. I like to put great history in a local context including genealogy. I like to exchange, enrich myself with each other's knowledge. The Celtic and Gallo-Roman periods interest me particularly.

THE DISTRICT
The house is located in a very quiet area, near the forest of the coastal conservatory. You access from the house, directly on foot or by bike, to the trails, to walk and go to the TRIEUX estuary where unforgettable views await you, in particular the CHATEAU DE LA ROCHE JAGU.
TRANSPORT
You can reach us by train, the nearest "station" being the Frynaudour stop.
By car, from the 4 lane ST BRIEUC - BREST / on this 4 lane, take the 2nd exit for PAIMPOL by LANVOLLON, the first PAIMPOL exit by the dimension being much too long.
LANVOLLON - PAIMPOL / Go to the roundabout at the entrance to Paimpol do not enter town, you take direction LANNION on a small ring road of 2 km, you arrive on a second roundabout, you do not exit direction Lannion, but the next direction PENHOAT, the next one being PLOURIVO, which should not be taken either, on this road from Penhoat, make 6 km, you cross the village at the exit take the second right after the café-tobacconists . You will then see the first sign 300m on your right "the sea is in the woods rooms" park in the parking lot (shared between our travelers and us).
INTERNAL REGULATIONS
The organization of parties or event is possible in a small room (20 seats) provided for this purpose, contact me for availability and prices.
You can rent 2 cottages, but no more, for the same period in instant booking, beyond 2 cottages, make a request which may be accepted depending on the period.
Our travelers are requested to respect the premises and leave them in the state in which they found them. Smoking is allowed on the terrace. Arrival from 3 p.m. and departure 10 a.m., travelers arriving after 7 p.m. must make themselves known so that I can give them the instructions "enter, door open, keys inside", while remaining reachable by phone.
Internet use is reserved for authorized and free sites, in the event of a breach of these rules, the offender is liable to file a complaint on the AIRBNB site and to disclose his contact details to the loan from the claiming organizations.
