Summary: Although the landlady did all what was possible, the description on Hotels.com of the accommodation offered was highly misleading. Firstly, it is not a hotel, so the reservations are not monitored, and thus our arrival at the doorstep of the house was completely unexpected. Despite the system accepting a booking online, you need to ring to check if anybody is home. There are simple rooms available in an annex building, which are basic (eg. no TV, or other comforts), it seemed suitable for summer accommodation. Locating the property involved driving around unlit & narrow country roads, knocking on doors of very kind neighbours. A somewhat challenging experience, but the landlady certainly put a smile on our faces with her friendly character.

Summary: The hostess was very rude and shouty, telling me I didn’t have confirmation for booking and that I should ring her directly to confirm booking. If I didn’t have two young kids and hadn’t already paid I would not have stayed. She made my family and I feel very uncomfortable. Soap / hand wash etc was missing from bathroom, I had to ask for towels and she made me feel as if she was doing me a favour. I had to put on the pillow cases, not enough loo roll. Hairs found in bed. Lights above sink didn’t work ( hard for husband to shave), no bracket to hold shower head. Breakfast was extremely basic, bread ( supermarket baguette), jam, butter with coffee, tea or hot chocolate. No juices or yoghurts or pastries. Overall a disappointing stay in a place that, with some love and happiness could be wonderful.

Summary: It was peaceful. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful, especially about finding a meal in local towns. Breakfast was very limited but good. Bread,butter, jam and good coffee. I would suggest charging a bit more and putting on ham, pastries and cheese. Enjoyed it and would return. Tom. Also dog friendly.

Summary: Our Room was clean and spacious , Very friendly and helpful . Took us some time to find the place , but got Nataly on phone talked us to there hotel . Thank you for great stay Daphne John

Summary: We were in the annex - very good but very basic. No TV. Breakfast was bread and jam - sliced brown only one day but had own French Bread. No restraunts nearby so brought food in to eat at night.

Summary: Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We received a very warm welcome from Nathalie and Adrien and they were very helpful.

Summary: Great stay, room was lovely and really comfy bed. Both the room and bathroom had heating so even in December it was nice and warm. Nathalie was a great host :) - I was able to use the microwave and cutlery etc to warm my dinner as I was exhausted after a long ride. I had to leave by 7am so she left me coffee, toast, and lovely home made jam so that I could have breakfast before I left. My little dog and me felt right at home. Thanks again :)
