Positive: Lovely apartment in central cercedilla Great host. Great communication. Friendly and easy going. The apartment is lovely and had everything with needed. Yes,,the steps are steep and a bit dangerous too as others commented in the reviews. But I didn’t mind. It was warm, cosy and easy to access for me. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Lovely shower too.

Negative: Unfortunately I didn’t manage to sleep one single night during my stay. Partly because of the location which is around roads and busy bars. But also the bells of the nearby church every 15 minutes ringing very loud. So I kept awake for intervals. Some noise insulation is definitely needed in the apartment.

Summary: Overall ok. But not if you need a place to come back and sleep

Positive: We really enjoyed the stay in apartment which is in the centre of Cercedilla. We were only 2 people so it was really spacious for us. Ringing bells from nearbye did not disturb our sleep, there are good windows. Many restaurants nearbye. We loved the mountains and hiking, the nature is just beautiful.

Negative: There are only a hot plate with no instructions. After struggling for some time I had to download the manual to get it working. Would have been nice if they left instructions with it. No oven as advertised, only a microwave oven. So with only the small cooking plate and a microwave you cannot really cook. There is a town clock next to the apartment and it signals every hour day and night which is a bit disturbing. We accidentally broke a extension hook to close the top windows and the owner demanded money immediately and threatened to contact the civil guard if I did not transfer the money immediately. This was completely unnecessary and left a bad taste in my mouth. I tied to replace it but could not find a shop that sold it and would have gladly paid the money without their threats.

Positive: Superbly fitted space, very well-thought out design with attention to detail. Light and airy rooms, with good quality for everything. Liked particularly that it was possible to relax both on the main floor and in the bedroom area. (And twin sinks always welcome!) Location is excellent for Cercedilla, and for walking out of.

Negative: Needs tow towel hooks by the sinks. And you need to be careful going down the steps in the dark, if you do that thing. Otherwise, please move the flat higher up the mountain, where the views are better!
