Summary: The gite was nice, clean, functional but somewhat tired. The big problem was Loirs, these are large dormice, they were living above the ceiling above the dining table. They scuttled around when we were eating, at night the noise was worse. The smell, the squealing, and scratching was awful. We told the owner in the first of our 2 week stay, and his wife in the 2nd week, they seemed reluctant to do anything about them. The garden plastic loungers were broken and had torn covers.

Summary: Wir haben zwei Wochen hier verbracht. Die Lage ist einmalig, absolut ruhig und in der Natur, dabei in der Nähe zu vielen Loire-Schlössern, die man auch mit dem Rad gut erkunden kann. Der Vermieter ist sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Das Haus selbst ist gut und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Gute Restaurants sind in der Nähe (Bistrot der Domaine Hauts-Loire, La Croix Blanche, beide ausgezeichnet!), ebenso die Märkte in Amboise!

Summary: Schönes Ferienhaus in ländlicher Umgebung mit großem Grundstück und viel Ruhe. Sehr netter Eigentümer und schön eingerichtete Räumlichkeiten. Alles für einen erholsamen Urlaub vorhanden. Sehenswürdigkeiten (Schlösser und Orte) sind gut erreichbar. Ideal auch als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren. Sehr enpfehlenswert.

Summary: Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir haben es genossen, abends am Kamin zu sitzen, oder an wärmeren Abenden auf der Wiese unter dem Baum, mit Blick auf D.., den Esel, und dem Maultier L... Im Sommer könnte es im Dachgeschoss ziemlich warm werden. Ansonsten wohnt man sehr bequem, mitten im Grünen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns gleich zu Hause gefühlt.
