Positive: Lovely charming farmhouse and comfortable room.

Negative: Reception was a bit cold. I had asked for an early check (their check in is late at 5pm and check out is early at 10:30) but was delayed by rain and owner of home was annoyed we were late. I get it but it’s a hotel didn’t think it would be a big deal. On checkout we were about to leave the room at 10:45 and he knocked on door to make sure we were leaving. Strangest part was we were the only guests in the house. Nice enough I guess and the bread and homemade jam was nice. But overall felt like we were more of a nuisance than guests at a nice hotel.

Negative: The ventilation fan in the toilet of the “Cocon” room did not appear to operate, and since the toilet is small, the fan is essential! But that is a very minor point.
