Positive: I stayed at this accommodation during my short stay in Dominica. From my check-in process to check-out, the entire experience was pretty smooth. The host Daina was lovely and very helpful, and made sure that my stay was pleasant and that I enjoyed my stay in Dominica. Even before I arrived on the Island, she reached out to me to go over everything I needed for check-in, and she also arranged for me to be picked up from the airport to the hotel. She also provided me with a local contact who runs a taxi service to get around the city, whose charges were very reasonable. My overall stay at this accommodation was very pleasant and comfortable. The location of the accommodation is in a very safe neighborhood. a good 25-30 minute walk away from downtown Roseau, so the local taxi service does come in handy. The place is a good bed and breakfast and spot, if you request, in advance, lunch and dinner can also be arranged for a small additional fee. I would recommend this place to anyone who's visiting the Dominica/Roseau area and looking for a very homely experience.

Negative: I didn't really find anything that stood up that I didn't really like. Perhaps I found the pillows were a bit stiff, then again, that's a personal preference, as I enjoy soft pillows. One of the things that was inconvenient was that there were no close restaurants or a grocery store nearby. The only restaurant that was closed was Lester's BBQ, which is open only on Fridays. other than that, you would need to go to town to get any groceries or to grab a bite. The town is about a 25-30 brisk walk away, up the hill one way. Getting a taxi or renting a car can easily remedy this situation.

Positive: The host was lovely and friendly. She made us a lovely breakfast in the mornings and made us a snack upon our arrival, which was particularly helpful because we arrived late and grocery stores aren’t that well stocked.

Negative: I think we were the only ones staying at the hotel which had several rooms. It was a bit too quiet!
