Positive: The proprietors are friendly, and helpful, and Muriel speaks English very well. Breakfast was good, with homemade jam! The house is well soundproofed, but if you wish an open window will allow roosters to wake you! Charming!

Negative: It is a good distance from major tourist sites. This is overcome by its location in the countryside and being in and near lively small villages.

Summary: This is an excellent Bed and Breakfast, or Chambre d’ Hote experience.

Positive: The host was very friendly, helpful, welcoming and speaks English. There was a dry place to store our bikes which is needed as it’s rained pretty much every night for a month! The only place available for dinner was a pizza place a 500 metre walk through town and it was actually very good. If you have a car you can reach other places and the host can prepare you a meal but we hadn’t booked that ahead. It’s a quirky place where the shower is in the bedroom but the toilet is in a separate room within the bedroom.

Negative: Unfortunately it was a very hot and humid night and there is no aircon or fan so sleeping was difficult.

Summary: A nice spot in lovely village location and close to the V53 for cyclists
