Positive: This is a simply wonderful pieds-a-terre, clean, modern, and very spacious, with fun art work on the walls, a bay window, and all the appliances a kitchen could need. I loved it and felt really comfortable there. Basel is easily accessible.

Negative: The neck on the tea jar is too narrow.

Negative: Only 1 fork, could have been cleaner: found several clumps of hair on the floor in the bathroom. Could not modify the temperature of the heating for the apatment / dit not get a reply to this question. But overall ok.

Positive: Easy to get into Basel via tram. Good basic facilities.

Negative: Host did not respond to my questions and requests while repeatedly sending me (what I assume are automated) messages saying "Please do let me know if you need anything or have any questions". VERY frustrating. Walls are INCREDIBLY thin; you can hear everything that's going on next dor (and I mean everything). No tea towel so had to use bath towel for washing up. Could have done with a sharp knife for chopping food (why do apartments rarely supply these?).

Summary: Okay. Cheaper than Basel 'proper'. Bad comms.

Negative: The host is not responsive at all — don’t expect timely replies. Check-in is very late and check-out is early, so I wouldn’t recommend it for a one-night stay.

Positive: Nice little room, with fridge and cooking appliances which is a good thing to have! Close to the border/tram stations. Easy to get to from the train station. Good value for money.

Negative: the restaurant below and across the road very noisy at night time which no fault to the property owners as they cannot control this.
