Positive: A quiet place nestled in the old quarter. Professional, smiling and helpful staff. The breakfast has many and various options. The restaurant at the 10th floor is quiet, perfect after a day in buzzing city. The restaurant serve tasteful food. Rooftop bar offers a 360 view on Hanoi, just go checked the second floor of the rooftop bar.

Positive: Excellent hotel just outside of the main tourist bustle. Many restaurants around. Get out around 6am to see the Old City before the tourists and traffic arrive! Walk around the Lake. Great service. Eat some pho with the (remaining) locals. Large modern rooms (for location). Super bathroom. Front desk easily accommodated my requests. Excellent breakfast in 10th floor restaurant.
Negative: My fifth visit to Hanoi since 1992, and yes, lovely modern hotels like this are destroying the ambiance of old Hanoi. There are still some quant corners if you search, but the days of this part of Vietnam's capital being anything but a step above Khao San Bangkok (ok never that "charming") circa 2003 are numbered. That's progress and "prosperity".

Positive: The hotel was in a great location and as it is a relatively new hotel everything was in great condition. Bathroom & bedroom very tasteful. Breakfast had an extensive choice of options and was to a high quality. We had lunch in hotel one day & food was very good. Pool & Sky bar not completed yet. I can't say enough about staff, nothing was too much trouble, the Vietnamese are very lovely. We ended up staying two extra nights due to typhoon but as it was such a comfortable hotel that wasn't an issue. The manager Mr Du was superb given we had to stay on he was very accommodating and so helpful suggesting & arranging activities for us. I also want to mention Trang who was part of the breakfast staff. Her English was good, she made a fuss over us & again nothing was too much trouble.
Negative: Only negative was no spa, pool or sky bar available yet, however that didn't bother us and it's not an issue as there are rooftop bars & spas close by.
Summary: The hotel exceeded our expectations, we had a great stay and would highly recommend it.

Positive: Beautiful hotel with a nice room! Good location too! Staff were very helpful and friendly! Breakfast was okay too!
Negative: We had a fire alarm go off which is fine but the staff didn’t come out to advise what was happening, someone had to go in to find out what was going on. The resort is also advertised as a spa but this space isn’t open yet - not a dealbreaker but not clear on booking.
