Positive: The property is at a very nice location in the historic part of Piacenza. The communication with the owner was fine, personally I like to meet in person with the landlord but this is me, anyway! The room is well decorated, has all the main facilities any person would need. The bathroom was clean and large enough. There is a shared kitchen space where you can prepare yourself a cup of coffee or tea, a toaster to make a sandwich, a fridge etc.

Negative: We stayed 3 nights. The only thing that they have to improve is the cleanliness of the shared kitchen space: they don't seem to replace on time the used cutlery and cups, cause they wait for the dishwasher to be totally full in order to start a cleaning cycle on it, so the third morning we were run out of cups, and we had to clean some in order to prepare a cup of coffee or tea.

Summary: Nice location, well decorated room, perfect for one or two nights stay in Piacenza.

Positive: Nice bed, good shower, restaurants around the corner, all you need on the Via Francigena.

Negative: It's not exactly a B&B, more a help-yourself, which was fine with me.
