Positive: This lovely, quaint inn is in a gorgeous little village surrounded by other gorgeous little villages. The hosts are super friendly and helpful with suggestions about hikes and travel in the area. The breakfasts were fresh, delicious, and filling. Be sure to make a reservation to eat dinner there too. The food is superb. Ask for a room with windows facing the mountains - it’s a beautiful view.

Positive: The room is beautiful and feels like being in a wonderful museum. Filled with paintings done by the host, Jackie. It is right at the base of the castle, very convenient to everything in Foix.

Negative: Foix is a small medieval city which made finding the guest house by car difficult. If you are driving be sure to let Jackie know you will need a parking space. Her space is a little walk away.

Summary: Jackie was a sweet and lovely host, and the room was delightful. We had a wonderful time visiting Foix!

Positive: Foix had a lot to offer, it is the most fun town of its size I know of! The room is located in the only garden of the medieval town, it is spacious and comfortable. Jackie was kind, her paintings decorate the place and she offered a delicious breakfast and tips of what to do.

Negative: The room could be a little warmer, but I can imagine in the summer it would be perfect.
