Positive: This is a fantastic and memorable accommodation. Staying in Pietrapertosa was a highlight of our trip in Italy. Words cannot do justice to the views of this place. Be prepared to walk some steps, our 3 and 5 year olds did them, but it's very much worth it.

Negative: Can't fault it. Very comfortable stay.

Positive: This was a lovely little apartment.Very clean and comfortable. Marianna was wonderful. We had a problem with our car and she found us a mechanic.

Negative: It is a bit tricky to get to if you are not very mobile. It is a steep climb down from the car park.

Positive: Pietrapertosa is the highest village in the Basilicata mountains - spectacular, humble, tiny. Marianna was straightforward and helpful, and the apartment was perfect - gorgeous views, and both a sense of history and all modern needs. You could spend hours on the front step in the sun looking out over the valley....

Negative: We couldn't find additional blankets...

Positive: In the heart of the village. Beautiful views from the balcony. Walk to restaurants and sites. Decor was smart and practical and the lounge area with the rock was really unique. It was nice to have some basics in the fridge/cupboard. Coffee. Milk. Crackers.

Negative: Not so much property but you need to realize the area is steep. Walking is up or down. Very few flat parts. There is reasonable paid parking (2 euro a day) about 5 minutes walk. We did drive the car to the property with the help of the host. So we could drop off bags. Otherwise it would be very difficult. It would be good to have more pillows on the bed. (2 each) and maybe refresh the sheets.

Summary: Beautiful views of a very pretty village.
