Summary: The view was great, but the room was damp and had a funky odor. I think we picked a bad time to stay — website was down so we couldn’t access amenities (eg room service), and there was roof construction going on (a flyer said it would be Monday-Friday, but we were there on a Sunday and it was still happening). I would guess once the roof and website are fixed and they get some dehumidifiers in the rooms it will be a nice place to stay :)

Summary: The room, patio, and food are fantastic. The menu and food far exceeded our expectations and our expectations were high having dined at the Rendezvous last spring. However we were beyond disappointed and frankly panicked with another aspect of our visit this year. The EV chargers at the Rendezvous were inaccessible due to the renovation. Although we received notification of the renovation, there was no mention of the EV chargers we depend on. Furthermore, when we arrived and discovered the circumstances, staff members said they would try to find a solution with the manager. We did not hear back from any staff or the manager so we contacted the town of Fort Frances for information on local EV chargers and were directed to the Service Ontario chargers. We went there but were advised the EV chargers have been removed. We were then sent to Canadian Tire but the chargers there were out of order. Fortunately we saw online that the Ford and GM dealerships had chargers. We went to Ford since it is across the road from Canadian Tire. Unfortunately the Ford charger only provides 37 Kilometres per hour, The folks at Ford were great and directed us to the GM dealership where the staff was extremely helpful and thankfully the charger was considerably faster.

Summary: View on the lake was calming and beautiful. The dinner was 10/10 and the breakfast too! No need to leave and go anywhere. Just wished it could have been a longer stay.

Summary: Room with lake view is great! Spacious room, lovely restaurant on site. Thankful to the staff who helped me with my room change. Service was very good. I'll stay again here when I'm around Fort Frances. Food there is also wonderful, better not miss to dine in!
