Summary: My stay at La Saudade was a very pleasant experience. The hosts are kind and interesting people, you are steps from the very charming town of St. Peray (which has infinitely more going for it than the other ‘wine towns’ in the area). Enjoyed a lovely dinner at La Ruche, and was told that the nearby Auberge is also a fun family destination. La Saudade is the embodiment of a lovely chambre d’hotes - clean, unpretentious, interesting old home, and is also personal and memorable! Recommend!

Summary: Great place and very nice hosts Somewhat hard to find as sign beside gate is very small. Nice jacuzzi, good breakfast, free parking inside on the premises. A homely feeling about the place. Will stay again if traversing France for another trip down south

Summary: 2 rooms on each of top 2 floors of 4 story building...........living room and breakfast area on 1st floor.........great parking inside gate............tables for picnics in garden............

Summary: We were very impressed with this hotel which we stayed at for one night on our way to Belgium from the Cote D'Azure. The house was lovely and we were met very graciously by the owner, who was very pleasant and welcoming. She informed us we could get an upgrade and we ended up having a lovely spacious suite. The rooms were clean and immaculate and the bed was very comfortable with crisp linen sheets and pillow cases. We had a very nice continental breakfast with a good choice of breads and preserves. We would certainly recommend it for more than one night. It is near several restaurants in Saint Peray. We ended having a nice meal at the restaurant which was recommended by the owner which was under ten minute walk away from the hotel.

Summary: We were looking for a comfortable layover on our way to the provence. This b&b is a wonderful gem, hidden away behind a big gate you wouldn't expect the carefully renovated rooms, the exquisite style and the amazingly friendly hosts. The breakfast was included and far more than you would get in an ordinary French hotel plus prepared with much love to detail. We also thouroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi in our room :)
