Positive: Staff amazing, rooms lovely - opened up onto the terrace, very quiet, pretty little open terrace and closed terrace. Views stunning and location for walks into the gorge great. Eat at Le Tigre - loved the owner - can come across as little gruff, but he is just clearly very busy - we loved him! And Benjamon - Jamon restaurant great too. Eating out options quite limited. Hotel food supposed to be lovely but we did eat there. A sleepy little village but very pretty. With a canyon walk - ensure you walk to the right side of the hotel not just the left! Right is stunning and so a big loop of about 1.5 hours.

Negative: all very good.

Summary: amazing. great hotel, great staff and stunning area.

Positive: Very friendly , helpful and welcoming owner and staff. Beautifully restored and decorated historical building with an amazing view from the outdoor terrace restaurant, which also serves delicious home cooked meals. Drinks available all hours via a refreshing honesty bar - great hospitality. Great fresh breakfast also served.

Negative: Only issue was the lack of aircon - which is listed on booking.com. There was a large modern fan in the room, which allowed me to sleep in comfort with the window open, but I did feed a few mosquitos :-) Not a massive issue - just needs revised in the property listing to accurately reflect the facilities. Did not detract from a wonderful stay.

Summary: A very special property in a lovely setting run by lovely people offering amazing value for money.

Positive: Wonderful old Spanish house with lovely decorations. Room was perfect overlooking patio and gorge . Very peaceful. Owner whose name I have forgotten was lovely . She allowed us to put bikes in house over night .

Negative: Nothing . Wish we stayed longer !

Positive: Beautiful, traditional Spanish hotel, so different from a chain hotel. Lots of charm. Very well managed by two delightful, hard working hosts. Peaceful nights sleep. Great hiking in the area - one hike straight from the hotel door. The patio overlooks the gorge. Here you eat breakfast and/or dinner, or just kick back with a coffee or glass of their excellent wine. Breakfast was lovely with very good bread. A clean, comfortable, quiet hotel with friendly & capable managers, what more do you need.
