Positive: Breakfast was continental, and was bread, meat, cheese and cereal. But all was delicious. Rooms comfortable and hosts very accommodating despite their lack of English. Their website talks about a tennis court and BBQ facilities, but don't take your raquet as the court needs a bit of work... We ate in and the food was simple and very tasty.

Negative: Sheets that fitted the bed properly and fewer cushions on it.

Summary: A lovely b and b in a good location.

Positive: The country setting with view over a valley and outdoor seating was pleasant. The room decor was nice. Meeting the other guests over the evening meal was enjoyable.

Negative: The hostess did not smile once and was not particularly welcoming. The tv from the owners could be heard from the first bedroom. The bedsheet was not well fitted over the plastic covered mattress and came undone during sleep. The evening meal was average. The electric lines kind of spoiled the country setting.

Positive: The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and had a wonderful ambience. The hosts were very amenable and the table d'hote was good. Really enjoyed my stay.

Negative: The address shown on the booking.com website was incorrect. We had to drive around for nearly an hour until we could locate the property via another hotel booking site that showed the correct address, Not the result I was looking for having just driven 400 miles. Not Happy!!

Positive: Owners were most helpful. We were travelling with our cat and had been let down at the last minute by the people we were due to stay with. We had no food and arrived past the correct arrival time. No issues. Our hosts gave us a lovely platter of pâté, cheese, gherkins and artisan bread with a local white wine to wash everything down. The following morning, unfortunately there was a major power cut, but our hosts offered to take us into town, arrange for our breakfast and pay. Due to our plans we did not have the time to take up this offer, so the previous evenings food and drink was free.

Negative: The bathroom was freezing cold due to it having an outside wall, otherwise all was great.
