Looking for cooler weather the San Juan Skyway Scenic Byway is a great circle drive through the prettiest mountains in all of Colorado
Mountain biking at world renowned Phils world less then 4 miles away
Looking to catch supper there are hundreds of miles of Mountain streams within a short drive And some of the best fishing in Southwest Colorado
Also McPhee reservoir One of the largest bodies of water in Colorado only 11 miles away boating is available as well

Lower level also has a very well stocked kitchen and pantry area as well as additional ice machine and extra fridge and freezer To help with large group needs
Or if you’d rather dine out you’re only 2 to 3 miles away from all the dining options in Cortez Including our own restaurant the Shiloh steakhouse the best steaks in the southwest 😃

Summary: Beautiful rural property. Large home with lots of windows with gorgeous views. Teenagers and adults played ping pong aand pool. Took trips around the ares. Had a great time. Very nice owners.

Summary: spaciousness was nice, cleanliness was questionable (cobwebs, front door hadn't been cleaned, dust everywhere), kitchen appliances were old and rickety (dishwasher worked but had to be very careful to open, no griddle, bathroom situation for that many people was hard to manage. yard was not very usable.

Summary: We stayed here with extended family to tour monument valley, mesa verde and 4 corners. It was the right location to spend the night after the long monument valley drive and perfect for doing mesa verde. It has beautiful views and close to town. The pictures of the house are accurate. It needs some repairs..cracked tiles and mirrors, sidewalk and drive way deterioration causing tripping hazards …but the beds are comfortable and plentiful which is what we needed most. You can tells it was well cleaned however there needs to be some deep cleaning as there was some mold on the ceilings in the bathroom. The house was not stocked with any shampoo conditioner or soap. This was an unpleasant discovery after arriving late. I’ve never stayed at a VRBO that didn’t provide these basic toiletries. For the price we paid this should have been provided. The host, Mark, was very friendly. He over communicated however. During our stay of 2 nights he called 3 times trying to stop by the house. Never had a host want to physically make contact with me. With a busy schedule it was a little much to try and do. On the morning of check out he called at 8:20…after a late night touring on top of a 2 hour time change from Alaska it was very unpleasant to be woken on our only day to sleep in. He called to relay check out instructions that can easily be added to VRBO listing, email or text.

Summary: We had a great time staying at Mark's place. It was very convenient to Mesa Verde (only 10 minutes from the park's entrance) and centrally located in Cortez for access to grocery stores - even Instacart could deliver there! Mark was very friendly and helpful, and check-in was easy. The space was great for a group - the kitchen was well stocked and there were tons of beds. We came with our class and all the students had a great time!

Summary: Beautiful spacious house. Had a great stay with my family. Mark was great and very responsive! Our hot water went out the first night but Mark was able to get it fixed within an hour. This was the perfect house for our very large family. Definitely recommend

Summary: We live locally, but thought it would be fun to rent this house for a few nights over winter break. The house was very clean and well stocked. The view doesn’t get any better! Mark was a great host, and I strongly recommend this house for anyone with large groups or family gatherings.
