Negative: A very disappointing experience—paying so much for accommodation and expecting a decent room... The room wasn't tidy, and there was no hot—or even warm—water. On top of that, there were ants in the room... So, if you want quality accommodation, steer clear of this place... And there is an additional fee of €10 per dog.

Positive: We had a fabulous time staying at La Via del Mare for 9 nights. It gave us the freedom to come and go as we wished, no ties to meal times, though there is the option to have breakfast there if booked in the day before. The apartment (108) was lovely, spacious and very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the spacious balcony with pool view. The air conditioning was nice to have in both the bedroom and living area. Carla and Roberta were fabulous welcoming receptionists, giving advice where needed. Carla was super helpful making sure we had the apartment cleaned and fresh towels half way through our stay and also organised a late check out for us. We lived in the area some years ago so knew the area outside the residence was a little tired, but there were shops to get groceries if needed. The shop at the end of the entrance was closed for holiday when we arrived but opened the last morning and the bread was delicious. We hired a car and were therefore able to go further afield. A great place to base ourselves to visit familiar places and explore new but away from the hustle and bustle of Napoli. We will definitely return to La Via del Mare, maybe even next year. Positive: The apartment was beautiful, and everything inside was clean and organized. You can really tell that a lot of care and attention went into making the place comfortable for guests. I really appreciated the warm welcome and how genuinely friendly everyone was throughout my stay. It was a real pleasure meeting you Roberta& Carla, and I would definitely come back here again.

Positive: The residence is wonderful. The facilities are excellent. Carla was wonderful, so attentive and kind. Jon Paul was so accommodating, dropping us off on his way into Naples.
Negative: There is nothing not to like. the Area maybe lacks some other facilities but we felt safe and contented in Via Mare

Positive: Everything was fantastic, from the minute we arrived and checked in Carla at reception told us, this is just like your home now, and she couldn’t have been more right! Carla along with the other staff and owners really made us feel right at home from day 1. La Via Del Mare was the perfect base to explore the beautiful surrounding areas of Pozzouli, Naples, Pompeii, Baia, Amalfi, Salerno, Rome and much much more, the options for exploration are endless. Nothing was a problem or an issue, Carla and Roberta were extremely helpful, attentive, welcoming and kind, the place was spotless, calm, peaceful and provided a laid back relaxing atmosphere that really made such a great foundation for our holiday. Special mention to Carla who really went above and beyond to make our family feel so welcome and at home while we enjoyed an unforgettable month at La Via Del Mare! We have made memories and friends for life ❤️
