Positive: La Villa is absolutely a magic place. The room was beautiful and very comfortable and the garden with the pool was a place to relax and chill with all the beautiful colors of the nature around. Nadine was very welcoming and always available for any need, she really make you feel at home and create a very warming atmosphere! The breakfast was just amazing. Can't wait to come back!

Positive: The location is a quiet homestay room outside Hossegor in a residential street. You can walk to Hossegor in about 40 minutes and drive it in less than 10. There is good parking and the hosts are very friendly. They chat and are very nice people. We occupied a room that was situated close by the pool. The room was very well appointed with a very well done bathroom. Nice shower and sink quality. Poor quality toiletries. The garden is very well maintained and overall very nicely done out with shrubs and plants although this is not a villa as the title suggests. It’s a home with no access to it and with three rooms self contained in the basement.
Negative: Noise from above and behind could hear a lot of shouting from one boy. I think it was family stuff. Lots of bathroom noises from the two other bedrooms so not great hearing water flushing, pipes and other sounds. The breakfast consists of one coffee, juice, bread, butter, jam and some small amounts of fruit I sadly felt is was poor value at 15euro each. I would not have taken it if I knew it were so limited. The bedding was not good- polyester blue coloured fitted sheet that in this weather should have been changed after a couple of days but the host did not change the bedding once eventhough I left a heavy hint at stripping the bed after the second night. I was questioned why I had removed the sheet which was awkward and she still didn’t change it and left it there for me to put it back on. Overall, the bedding needs to be upgraded and would add to the experience but note to the host - if the bed is stripped, the occupant wants it changed. The bed a really really soft single memory foam pushed together. We both had bad back-ache from it. We took the room on the basis of an 11.00 check out but were asked to leave by 10.30 (because a new person was coming in)which was unfair in my opinion as our flight was 10pm. Check in is at 4pm so didn’t know why we were asked to go early. The pool was quite cold (though heated) so we didn’t use it despite two attempts. It was at around 23degrees max Our plastic wood-appearance bedroom floor felt dirty all the time with sand and dirt so the room felt uncomfortable to walk barefoot. A rug would have been good.
