Positive: The view in the morning og Rinjani was amazing! The staff are all so nice. Unfortunately we weren’t able to extend our stay but they still let us join for dinner at a locals house.

Positive: Amazing view of Mt Rinjani from the window of our glamping pod! The staff were so lovely and friendly, one of the local staff let us try his home grown coffe which we bought two bags of because it was so delicious! Great breakfast included in the price as well. Would highly recommend staying here, we wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Positive: I had a very wonderful day here after ninjani trekking. The room is cozy with a warm bed and nice view. Hot water offered for shower, well-organized gardening, relaxing public space with tea and breakfast. The staff are the best. The staff are the best. I have to say it twice.
Negative: It’s hard to get a grab or gojek there. Better go with a bike.
Summary: Would love to stay one more night if possible

Positive: Our stay in Laa Cabana was everything we hoped for and more. I find it hard to put into words our time here. But the words ‘fulfilling, wholesome, grounding, rewarding and solace’ come to mind. Without doubt, my favourite stay and experience of my travels so far. Antoni and the boys went above and beyond to ensure we got to experience as much as possible in our 48hrs. They spent the entire time with us, guiding us through unforgettable memories: teaching English to local students, being driven through the mountains, boating to secret islands, waking up to full views of Mount Rinjani and sharing dinner with local families in Jurang Koak Village. It was also the little things like playing board games while eating our banana pancakes and sipping on the home made coffee in the morning, playing cards with Antoni and Reno on the beach, and the sounds of Antoni singing Lady Gaga while driving through the country side! The opportunity to fully embrace the Sasak culture and connect with the local community is something I’ll carry with me forever. The property itself is perfect. Clean, comfortable, and homely. But what makes its extraordinary is the people. Antoni and the team are genuine, welcoming, warm and really give meaning to their ‘come as friends, leave as family’ motto. Also, a shout out to Bruni - the cutest doggo in the world! This is not your 5 star resort stay, this is your 10 star life experience. I can’t wait to come back ❤️

Positive: It felt as family since we arrived! The place is quite isolated but it gives you the chance to stay in nature and the view is absolutely amazing to see sunrise on Rinjani mountain. It gives you the possibility to live in a camping but in a cleaner and nicer location. In our case, the bathroom was outside the room a few meters away, but there was hot water to enjoy a shower in nature! Breakfast was included and delicious. They organise a lot of activities together with the guests: we hiked the Kondo hill together with one of them and before going they took us to see the sorroundings by scooter and to have lunch together. They also organise activities for the local people to teach English and to promote a tourism oriented to sustainability. Finally they have a fantastic rescued dog Bruni which is lovely and will be happy to play with you if you like it!
Negative: Our journey was too short to enjoy more time with the guys and do more activities together

Negative: Reviews say that the hosts can arrange dinner with local families. Unfortunately we arrived in the evening and although they tried to help, it was too late and there was no food available. This is just something to keep in mind, luckily there's a convenience store nearby. This was also the first and only place i've stayed at who couldn't help us arrange a scooter rental so we had no choice but to go see some of the sights in a car. We like to explore on our own so hopefully this is something that can be offered in the future

Positive: We had a wonderful time at this glamping site, it was one of the highlights of our trip. The hosts were incredibly warm and helpful from the start, giving us great tips not only for popular spots but also hidden gems we’d never have found on our own. They even arranged a delicious dinner for us at a local family’s home in the village, which was such a special experience. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and surrounded by stunning nature. Waking up to those views was simply unforgettable. Their sweet dog also made our stay even more enjoyable 🩷 What really touched us was their dedication to the local community, they’re planning to open an eco-school for locals, which is a truly inspiring project. Hopefully, we’ll get to return one day and see it completed 🙂 Can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for something unique. Thank you for everything ☺️
