Summary: The rooms and pool were very nice, but I was overall a little disappointed with the stay considering this is a higher end property with a 5 star rating. My review for this would be higher if they weren’t more expensive than the other options. It was a case of overpromising and underdelivering. I picked this hotel because of the amenities and wanting a mountain retreat type feel. The pool bar and skybar were never open, which was disappointing since they were big selling points. The entire skybar area was closed too. The only open one was the lobby bar, which really didn’t have a good atmosphere since it’s line the checkin area. My room was right over the Fansipan bus pickup, so it wasn’t very picturesque in the room. With the advertised amenities not existing, we ended up going out more but there was no where to walk (no bars, restaurants, local trails), so we had to take cars into main Sa Pa. The Expedia distances said it was a 10 minute walk to Sa Pa, but it would’ve been an hour and on very unsafe roads.

Summary: We were a family of 4,kids 9 and 7. The hotel was amazing! The room was big and spacious with 1 extra rollover bed. Great diversity in breakfast, super helpful staff and service. The kids loved the game room. Location was super great right in the entrance to Fansipan plus shuttle service to/from Sapa center. Hotel pool and hot huge jacuzzi was nice way to end the day plus saunas. High pressure shower and very hot water. The food in the hotel restaurant (pizza, cheeseburger and fries) was excellent! Highly recommend!

Summary: We are SO happy we decided to stay here at Lady Hill Resort while in Sapa!! Located on the top of a hill, this resort has incredible views of the mountains and overlooks Fansipan. We enjoyed that the hotel itself is outside of the busier city center and quieter, but it was easy to get to town via a short grab ride or the hotel shuttle. While the views are stunning, the hotel itself is also beautiful and new. We ate breakfast and dinner outside multiple times while soaking in the amazing Mountain Views, and the staff was so kind and attentive. So much food available for breakfast and everything we ate was delicious! We enjoyed our massages in the spa, especially the unique herbal bath and Himalayan salt sauna! We loved being able to walk down to the Fansipan gondola and back up to the hotel once we were done to enjoy sunset dinner on the outdoor terrace on our last day here as well! Special shout out to Joseph, who was so kind and went above and beyond for us- we were SAD to leave!

Summary: It was very nice and comfortable stay. All the staff were so nice, although the check in and check out process could have been faster. Cleaning ladies were good as well, every night desert delivery was so sweet too. Bathroom was nice, but I think it stinks sometimes... Pool needs heating though seriously.

Summary: I’ve struggled with this review because I really wanted to enjoy his hotel. By Sapa standards it is one of the pricier hotels. I give the hotel maximum points for having really beautiful rooms. The bed in my room was huge. The mountain views are epic. The staff also try their best to make it a good experience. Here are the two major drawbacks: 1) The staff do not speak English (except for reception). It is a pain having to struggle to explain the most basic requests to them. You would expect management to train their staff at a hotel like this. 2) The major reason I chose this hotel were the amenities. They are beautiful. Here is the issue though. The hotel makes additional income by selling day passes to people. Every single day there was a hoard of backpackers buying day passes and taking up all the chairs at the pool. They flooded the gym. I had to wait until the evening to work out because of this. It also made the pool experience not very enjoyable. I recognise the the hotel wants an additional way to make money but it should not be at the expense of the guests’ comfort. This is in particular when they advertise themselves as an oasis and tranquil experience. Further, staff could not keep up. I ordered a drink at the pool one day that never came. I constantly had to chase people down to order / inquire when my food / drinks would arrive and there was always significant delay. Again, staff are doing their best. It’s clearly a problem with management.
