Positive: Nice apartment with lots of amenities. Very thoroughly explained house manual! Many kid parks, bars and convenience stores nearby, and close to the station.
Negative: It was in a nice suburban area but the road just outside the house was busy so a bit troublesome with our young kids (the pavement/sidewalk was very narrow and we frequently had to walk on the road if cars or other pedestrians stopped). It's also a shame that the place didn't have an elevator as the stairs were very steep.
Summary: Great apartment just outside central Tokyo.

Positive: Great location. Easy from train station. Bars, restaurants and shops close by.
Negative: 5th floor with no escalator would have been okay if it wasn't a tiny room... Booked for 3 adults in a triple room and the bedding for the third person was equivalent to a camp stretcher - hard is an understatement. We requested additional bedding (not a different bed) to make the bed softer but they declined. The room was very narrow.
Summary: Lucky the location was great as the size (for price) and comfort factors (bedding) were low.
