Positive: We liked everything! The big appartement and surroundings are exactly as in the pictures, The garden and pool area are really beautiful. The atmosphere is so relaxed and we slept great in the big comfortable bed. There are many extras, for example there is everything you need for a day at the beach, there are chairs an umbrella and big towels. Also a washing machine with detergent is not missing. The location is great, but a car is necessary, within 5 to 10 minutes.you can reach lots of restaurants and 2 big supermarkets. What we liked the most is the personal attention of the hostess and her team. They are lovely, enthusiastic, full of passion, helpful and make you feel very welcome. It felt like a home away from home. Thanks again Johanna and Aurélie!

Positive: Excellent communication with the owners who couldn't have been more helpful. Auralie was beyond welcoming and helped us with numerous things like taxi and recommendations to nice place to eat and visit. Large, well appointed kitchen with all the cooking utensils and fridge freezer to cook in. Peaceful balcony to sit and take in the peace and enjoy the Mauritian bird life Very comfortable bed with excellent air conditioning. Great location for Le Morne, Black River gorge hiking, visits to Port Louis. Nice pool and bbq area.
Negative: Truthfully... Nothing. Having stayed in multiple holiday rentals across the world, this really was excellent.

Positive: The property was really nice, with an outside area for eating. It was quite private, although the pool is shared with guests from a couple of other apartments, so there may be some people about. The property had a good kitchen and a good range of crockery. There was a washing machine. Our hosts could not have been more friendly & helpful, providing lots of useful information about Mauritius. The location is good, Tamarin is a good base for exploring the south of Mauritius.
Negative: There was no oven at the property, so something simple like getting a few pizzas from the supermarket for a family meal is not an option. There isn't really much within walking distance, a car is needed to get to a restaurant or the supermarket.

Positive: I can't express how amazing this property is—if I could give it 100 out of 10, I absolutely would! It truly felt like a second home for us in Mauritius. Facilities: Everything you need for daily life is provided. We have a 3-year-old daughter, and the property came with a washing machine, washing detergent, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, bottleless water, coffee machine, kettle, clothes drying rack and everything you need in daily life. It was fully equipped and thoughtfully prepared. The swimming pool, children’s float, sun umbrella, and lounge chairs made it feel like a mini resort! Location: Perfectly situated on the west coast, it’s very convenient for visiting all the major attractions—7 Coloured Earth, Le Morne, Casela Park, and Port Louis are all within a 30-minute drive. Restaurants and supermarkets are all in 5 mins drive. Hospitality: Aurelie and Johanna are by far the kindest and most thoughtful hosts we’ve ever met！They were incredibly considerate and welcoming, offering helpful suggestions for travel plans, restaurants, routes, and parking... Their professionalism made us feel like we were staying in a five-star hotel！ Overall: My only regret is not being able to book this place for our entire stay in Mauritius. If I had known how wonderful it would be, I would have reserved it for all our days here. I will absolutely return and book again for my next trip to Mauritius!

Positive: Its a litlle oasis. We feel very good there. Aurelia was very helpful with every question we had. It is a must to have a car which we had so it was no problem. The apartment was spacious and clean. The pool was perfect. I would recomend Lakaz de Sol for everyone. The position is perfect and its close to the main "attraction of the island. Thank you for great vacation!

The property itself is so beautifully done with boho theme, very very well equipped, less than 5 mins from the beach (where you can easily go for an amazing sundowner), close to super market and restaurants. The pool is fantastic, and we really enjoyed the option to have a barbecue by the pool. The filtered water dispenser was a huge help during our stay.
