Summary: First the bad, a lot of the dishes that were in the cabinets were dirty when we arrived and we had to run a load first. The place was pretty clean but there was a fruit fly infestation and they were everywhere. The bed that we slept in had a massive pee stain and wreaked of urine, but we didn't realize it till the middle of the night. The hot tub hadn't been cleaned in a while and had grungy ring around it with a big hair ball on the bottom. I cleaned it but my wife still refused to get in. This was a bit disappointing because it was our anniversary and this was one of the reasons that we chose this place. The photos show pictures of a new deck but those pics have to be at least 10 yrs old or more. The screened porch door won't close and has major water damage too it. Since the door won't close properly wasps were in the screened porch. One of the bathrooms has a major leak and is dripping like crazy in the basement. The leak doesn't affect the place yet but you can tell that it's been leaking for a long time and shows lack of upkeep. Now for the good, the view is fantastic and it's in a nice quiet location. With some love and attention this house can be great.

Summary: The cabin was great! It was clean and had a great view of the mountains on the deck. The hot tub was a perfect touch. We will definitely be going back.

Summary: The view is great and the interior is nice. The property really has a lot of potential, however, it is like it was built and got to 90 percent complete and then property maintenance stopped (too many details to get into). A few simple improvements would be to fix the leaking hot tub which is rotting the deck, the kitchen needs more lighting and put a trash receptacle outside.

Summary: My husband and I booked for a last minute weekend getaway. This home was tucked away and very secluded. The drive out was so scenic and the property was very secluded and peaceful. Our favorite thing was enjoying the perfect view from the deck and hot tub.

Summary: Great location (12 min to Luray), beautiful cabin! Needs some bowls and measuring cups in kitchen. Hot tub was wonderful, though some of the headrests and the surrounding desk is showing some wear and tear. Lovely view! Be prepared for the sun to wake you up. Loved the natural light. Could use a little more lighting in the kitchen though. Served our purpose well!

Summary: This is a beautiful cabin on a quiet, private mountain top location. We stayed for two nights while visiting the Luray Caverns. For our family of three, this cabin was the perfect size. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. We got lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the hot tub on our first night. The deck and covered porch are nice and spacious. More furniture to enjoy it would be a plus. There were only the bare necessities included. If you're a foodie family, there was only table setting for about 4, so bring plates. And bring chairs to enjoy the view from the deck. Overall, for a 2day getaway from the madness, this was a nice stay.

Summary: My husband and I went as a quick get away- it was really nice and clean. The driveway is scary and felt vertical, but we have a truck. The hot tub was really nice to sit in the evenings. I would go back. We got lucky and had snow one evening- which made the mountain and the view spectacular. We didn't go out and about around the area- stayed in the entire time.

Summary: We had a lovely time ringing in the New Year while staying at this beautiful log cabin getaway! David, the owner, was very quick to respond with questions prior to arriving and gave us easy straightforward access instructions. The cabin had all the necessities you would expect with a rental plus some and those views....WOW....especially sitting in the hot tub with snow falling!!
