4 Bedroom House in Cadiz

This three bedroom home with a pull-out bed in the loft can comfortably sleep up to 10 people. It is located on Lake Barkley, just 3.2 miles from the Lake Barkley Lodge and all of its amenities (excellent boat ramp and dock, golf, tennis, dining, beach, fitness center, and gift shop.) The house is located in Blue Spring Bay offering fishing and water sport opportunities. The master suite located upstairs has a king bed with a walk-in closet and spacious bath. There are two bedrooms on the first floor. One with a queen bed and the other has two twin beds and a set of twin bunk beds with a walk-in closet. The rental does not include the lower walk-out level, which is a separate apartment with no shared access used by the owners occasionally on weekends.
The house is completely furnished with a fully stocked kitchen with an ice maker, trash compactor, microwave, oven, and dishwasher. Enjoy cable tv and free wifi with a highspeed connection.
There is a lovely screened porch on the side of the home that is always shaded with a table and chairs for dining al fresco! There is also a deck with a table and chairs and a gas grill perfect for gazing on the lake while grilling. You will have complete access to one slip in our community dock. However, the dock is not equipped with running water or electricity. There is also a firepit located down by the driveway.
The location is terrific for golfers. It is only 2 miles from Boots Randolph Golf Course. You are also close to Cadiz, a charming town with several antique shops, small grocery stores, and restaurants. Bring your water toys and enjoy the lake. Turkey Bay at LBL has ATV/SXS riding.

Summary: Love the house, very comfortable and clean, plenty of room and ideal set up for skiing and tubing with Tritoon from the Barkley Marina just around the next cove launched from the dock and easy stroll down the hill from the house. We’ll be back

Summary: Overall our stay was good. First the positives, the house is well stocked, clean and has a good layout. The location is great and the dock is just the right size for our boat (18ft- anything bigger will be tougher to dock). Our biggest issue was the cable and internet were non existent during our stay. The owner was notified and all that was said was thats weird. Never really got any explanation or info while we were there. Wouldn't have mattered if we didn't have 2 days of rain. Also the grill on the deck is junk. Only 1 burner barely works so I wouldn't plan on using it. Other appliances in house work nicely after figuring out settings. The tv upstairs instructions are terrible and why are there 5 remotes up there with one set of batteries. Instructions need clarified for next tenants. Overall I would likely stay here again but internet, cable and grill need to be addressed.

Summary: Wonderful home well stocked with plenty of room. Nice and easy access to water with truck or suv. Adequate dock for 20' and under boats, anything larger would be diffilcult in my opinion. Television can take a minute to figure out but once we did everything worked great in living room. Wifi was good during entire stay. Puzzles are great for those rainy days, We did 2 of them during our stay. The beds were comfortable and rooms were nice sized. The only real negative was the upstairs tv was confusing and not worth the effort to use. Overall great stay and very nice property.
