Please Read Cottage Description below prior to booking. Lazy days at Little Red is a local favorite original Cottage to the property built in the 1950's. There are 8 large steps down to the front door as shown in the pictures. This cottage is not handicap accessible.
We are an Amazing Lake & Mountain View Community, we don't have lake access.
Maximum Occupants 2 nonsmoking 28+ adults only.
NO pets/animals or visiting pets/animals permitted on property. No exceptions. No Smoking, No trailers or anything in tow. Short Rental Agreement sent from owner. Photo ID required.
We strongly advise purchasing Travel insurance that is offered during checkout. Contact VRBO with any questions regarding the policy. We Strictly Adhere to our cancellation policies. 100% refund if canceled 30 days before arrival date. 50% refund if canceled 14 days before arrival date.
Late checkin/early checkout are nonrefundable. Any adjustments will fall under same refund policies. $25 charge for no-shows.
Holiday Cancellation Policy; Reservations including; New Years Eve/Day, Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve/Day. Cancellations 30 days before arrival date will receive 100% refund. Cancellations after that point are nonrefundable.
Dock slips in pictures and trailer parking are approx. 1 mile from cottages and reserved separate from this agreement. No swimming/fishing off community docks/dock area.

Nestled in the mountains of western North Carolina, Overlooking Lake Chatuge. A quiet, relaxing place you'll long remember as the perfect get-away. Our Country Cottages have been a long time vacation destination for those wishing to get away from it all. Little Red Cottage comes with a fully equipped kitchen, including small appliances, dishes, cookware, utensils, range, microwave, refrigerator and propane grill. TV's in living room and bedroom, Free Premium Channels, Free WiFi and Free parking. All linens and towels provided. Screened Front Porch with amazing lake and mountain views.

Hike the many area trails, enjoy scenic drives, and relax near beautiful waterfalls. The nearby Ocoee and Nantahala Rivers offer kayaking and whitewater rafting adventures. Ride horses and mine for gems. Several area courses offer golfing and tennis. Visit the crafts fairs, shop for antiques, browse the flea markets, and enjoy the area festivals, including the Georgia Mountain Fair and Oktoberfest. Ride the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad. Visit the world-famous Smokey Mountain National Park. Enjoy the Cherokee Indian Museum and Oconaluftee Indian Village. Try your luck at the Reservation Casino. Take a class, or visit, the John C. Summary: The cottage was perfect for us. It was very clean, and well equipped. This is the fourth year we have stayed in one of Audra's cottages, and knew we wouldn't be disappointed. Sitting on the porch in the evening was so relaxing and peaceful.

Summary: The property manager was wonderfully responsive to questions and provided all the information needed for check-in. The cabin was spotless, had all the necessary supplies (coffee filter, wine opener), and was absolutely charming. The view off the front porch was incredible. I'm only sad that I only had a one-night stay booked.

Summary: Everything was wonderful, except that we had no water for four days. And we had to go to the grocery store and get water. Because we had no water and no way to take a shower, no way to flush the toilet, and no way to wash dishes other than the boil water which costs a good amount of money. I think the property manager should have brought us water and provided that. The stress of not being able to fully use the toilet was very difficult for me and I got sick. Everything else was really really great. We were offered to be able to move to another location without any charge, but there were not any locations available, and the whole point of our trip was not to stay at a hotel I realize that no one can control the weather, but I felt that a rental property manager should know the forecast to do everything possible to make sure that there is water available

Summary: My husband and I booked this cute little cabin for our anniversary weekend get a way. The owner emailed us instructions on how to locate the property (google was a little off). It was easy to find. The check in process was super simple and the property was so nice and clean! It’s perfect for couples! We really enjoyed our stay and will 100% book again if we find ourselves in the neighborhood again. We didn’t have any reason to contact the owner but she gave us her cell in case we did. The view is amazing also! Just go ahead and do yourself a favor and book it for your trip, you won’t regret it!

Summary: This adorable lake view cottage was very clean, comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen. Within driving distance to area attractions; Brasstown Bald, Helen, GA Octoberfest, and many scenic hiking trails. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets over the lake and spectacular fall foliage. The property manager was very responsive to our questions.
