Summary: This house is located on the bank of Lake Erie 10 mins from the town of Port Colborne. It is a very spacious one level bungalow with a beautiful view of the lake from many of the rooms. Large shady trees make it very comfortable to sit out and view the water. This property was once a very nice modern home. Unfortunately it was not maintained so while it is obvious the current owner has started to fix it up there are still things to be done to get it back to the house it once was. While we stayed at the property four of us were on the internet working and we didn’t have any problems. The Wi-Fi signal was very strong and could easily handle multiple users. On the downside the A/C was set at 25.5 and the best we could reduce it to was 23.5 which was inadequate to cool the Garden side bedroom. The hot water tap didn’t work in one bathroom and the igniter on the stove had to be unplugged. Check time is not flexible! Which was disappointing for us as we had people flying in and others coming from very far away. Things that weren’t well communicated included: 8 towels were provided (you will need to bring beach towels) blankets and pillows were on the beds (we were told to bring all bedding instead of bring sheets for all beds), there was dish soap as well as dishwasher pods, garbage bags, paper towels and toilet paper. Overall this is a good rental. We had a great time and really enjoyed sitting out looking at the lake. We would rent again.

Summary: House was large bedrooms generous sizes and well spread out. Large family dining table with a great view of lake. Deck out back favourite afternoon hangout. Would suggest watershoes as beach was rocky with tiny sea shells but water was shallow for a good distance. Nice quiet lanes for walks. Suggestions for owners more pots and baking dishes needed due to COVID restrictions it’s easier to cook for a family than to eat out.

Summary: This is a wonderful and spacious modern bungalow with 4 bedrooms and a huge living area and kitchen. While there is a big front yard, the backyard is a narrow grass area with a slope and stairs down to the water. The “beach” is a rocky area with quite a lot of seaweed washing up. The owners have put very nice comfortable lounge chairs on the middle landing of the stairs in the way down which is great as sitting on the beach isn’t practical at all. Be sure to bring water shoes. You will definitely need. A few areas to point out: there is no laundry room/facilities at the present time although I’m told they are planning to do this at future time.coffee machine is Nespresso so bring capsules if you have. Otherwise we really enjoyed ourselves and there was enough space for everyone. There are two small kayaks for kids and one adult kayak. They have Xbox and games and pool/air hockey table which kids loved. (Would have been nice to have cue stick chalk though!!) Lake is very warm and shallow a long long way out (rocky though hence the water shoes) and wonderful to swim in. Vadym is very responsive and was great to communicate with.

Summary: We had a great stay at this property. The house is beautiful, very spread out, fully equipped and very family-friendly. There is so much space for spreading out. The beach is beautiful and so quiet. The entry is quite rocky and shallow but fine with water shoes. It’s not great for swimming but fine for floating about. Vadym was great to work with, very accommodating and responsive.

Summary: Vadym’s place is great - it’s very spacious. The sunroom has great views of the lake. We really liked that all of the rooms were on one floor - it made it much easier for the kids. The beach gear was great - we used them every day. It would have been nice to have the laundry available, but I know it will be fixed later this year. Thanks for a great vacation!

Summary: Beautiful, clean and well maintained cottage by the lake. spacious rooms with nice view and bright natural light. There a few setbacks that needs improving: The cottage is on well water and the pressure dropped to almost non existent when we were taking shower or washing the dishes. Also the kitchen drainage was clogged from the first day so we were not able to use the sink. There was no access to the water on the outside of the cottage. The exterior water taps were shut down and we could not use the water Toys for kids. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we appreciate the beauty of this property and the view.

Summary: We had a blast doing a small family getaway. The property is set-up well with lots of space and easy waterfront access. Only discrepancy from the listing was the fire pit. We did not find the one mentioned in the listing but we were able to build our own on the beach. Would definitely stay again.
