4 Bedroom Cabin in Crosby, Deerwood

Modern remodeled home includes the following:
Galley kitchen - Granite counter tops, Double Oven, Flat cook top, Dishwasher, Hickory cabinets, silverware, all needed cookware, dishes, blender and mixer. Gas and Charcoal grills are also available for outside grilling.
Heat/Air depending on the season. Hardwood floors, Knotty pine interior - Half round log sided exterior.
Cable TV, Wireless High speed internet for those that do need to keep up with work or communications. Top quality mattresses on each of the 7 beds. 1 King, 1 queen, 1 Full, 3 Twins and a Queen Air in the guest room. 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 main plus the boathouse. Linens provided for all beds.
Walk-in Shower on the main level, Washer and Dryer on both the main level and the basement. Additional shower in the basement if needed. Beach towels, shower towels and kitchen towels provided. Second floor bedrooms have shared access to the 1/2 bathroom.
100' dock allows fishing from the dock. Dock stairs and ladder allow for easy access to the water. Water is ankle deep at the shore and approximately 3 feet deep at the end of the dock. Sandy bottom with NO drop offs in the area in front of the cabin.
Pontoon rental available from us. We have numerous Life jackets and sizes to fit most any size . Waterskis, Kneeboards or tubes for use behind your boat are also available.
Boathouse has a balcony over the lake and is accessed through the sliding patio door. There is nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the waves lapping up on shore beneath you and waking to the call of the loons in the morning. Also has a natural Gas fireplace for those that want to sleep there in the winter - vaulted knotty pine ceiling, Birch hardwood floors.
Patio off the main living room looks over the lake. Adirondack chairs and picnic table line the patio around a controlled fire area for evening fires.
Our Hammocks can be conveniently hung between shore side pines and is a great place to read, nap, talk with your significant other or have deep conversations with your kids or grand kids.
Ample blacktop parking space to accommodate family and friends along with a garage mounted backboard - basketball also provided.

Summary: Beautiful lakefront home in a classic north woods setting gave our family a place to come together away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We enjoyed the home, playing hockey on the lake and its proximity to wonderful nearby towns. We would recommend the property and hosts and hope to be back again!

Summary: This lake home comfortably slept the 7 of us and included many amenities including a dishwasher and 2 washers and dryers (particluarly appreciated the iphone charger). The highlight of our stay was boating and swimming on the pristine lake. We were in the area for a wedding so would like to return when our time isn't so limited to fully enjoy this property. Of note the stairs to the upper bedrooms are steep and spiral a bit and may be difficult for the very young or very old. couplevofchoursc

Summary: We had an awesome weekend at Matt's place on Serpent lake. I've stayed in many rentals, and comparatively this was extremely well stocked with plenty of supplies in the kitchen, garage, boat house, you name it. There was even leftover food and drinks (unopened of course), plenty of seasonings and all of the small incidentals that you seem to forget to pack. We were there for an extended weekend with my family, two nephews (children), and there was plenty of space. My wife and I stayed in the boathouse which was perfect for us to have some privacy and not feel like we were all on-top of each other. The only bonus would've been if there was a bathroom, but it was still great! We were able to rent the pontoon and had an awesome time on the lake. The boathouse was also stocked with plenty of extra floaties, fishing poles, tubes, etc. We had a great time in both Deerwood and Crosby. Everything is only a 5 minute drive and you can also dock the boat in town and walk around. We would highly recommend and will likely be going back! Also, Matt was extremely communicative and responsive. Great host!

Summary: We loved our long weekend here! Our favorites were tubing on the pontoon, kiddos playing on the dock, sitting by the fire and roasting smokies and s’mores, grilling dinners, cooking breakfast in the amazing kitchen, drinking coffee in the living room looking at the lake, going for long walks, and just enjoying time with family.

Summary: Perfect location and cabin for a friends/family mountain bike trip. Ride to all the local trails, bike/coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. End your day on the perfect patio overlooking the lake and watching the ducks, eagles and loons or enjoy a sunset cruise on the pontoon.
