This secluded and private home is built to maximize Mousam Lake's gorgeous views, which is how the home got it's original name, "Grandview". Our three-level home is a great way to entertain everyone under one roof but not feel too crowded. The basement is a perfect kids-zone with windows and direct access to the outside, a second refrigerator and plenty of space to relax and watch TV. Sleeping arraignments include a futon and sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress, you'll also have plenty of room for additional air mattresses (provided) if needed. The main level has a generous living area and dining room with a wall of windows overlooking the lake. Here you'll also have a bedroom with a dresser, full spacious kitchen, pantry, 1/2 bathroom and laundry. The third floor features a massive full-bathroom and two roomy bedrooms with closets and dressers. Be sure to take in the beautiful lake views and fall foliage while relaxing in bed in the master bedroom. Outside you'll enjoy peaceful evenings on the pier that cantilevers over the lake, or out door dining on the side deck off of the living are. You can also flip burgers on the gas grill on the back patio. Lastly, if you like smores be sure to get out the firepit for evening bonfires and if you like exploring feel free to take a ride in one of our three kayaks. If you stay during the spring, summer or fall months you can also enjoy our large dock with a bench over the water.

Summary: This vacation home is exactly what the owner portrayed. We had so much fun and lots of relaxation. I even read 2 whole books. My adult kids were acting like little kids on the water bouncy thing. We also enjoyed kayaking, paddleboarding and fishing, went and played mini-golf and all the guys played regular golf too. We had so much fun playing board games every night too. I also want to point out that this house has a great stocked pantry, every spice you can think of. A great time was had by all. Rebecca was very responsive to answer any questions we had. We will definitely return.

Summary: This is an amazing lodge, in a truly stunning location. The lodge is beautiful and has everything that you need and more. We all loved the kayaks and Paddle board and the water inflatable was a brilliant touch. The sunsets over the lake are very special. Great hosts, thank you Rebecca.

Summary: We had a perfect week at this property. The house is well laid out and has everything you could want- from a fully stocked kitchen to kayaks and fishing rods and plenty of beach towels. Rebecca was an excellent host and texted us with everything we needed for a smooth check-in. We look forward to returning!

Summary: This property and the owner are fantastic. Rebecca responded to all my questions and concerns rather quickly in the most pleasant and friendly manner. During this difficult time of the pandemic it was the perfect solution for us. The house was clean and sanitizer and wipes readily available for your own cleaning if wanted. Without the virus I would still rent this house again. It is stocked with everything you could possibly need ( appliances and gadgets), things for the kids and adults alike. The set up and location of the house is great. The views are amazing and the house is set up perfectly. Besides the water and kayaks, you have a fire pit and a covered outside dining area. Fishing for the kids was great and we enjoyed the kayaks. Morning coffee on the deck was awesome. You have neighbors but all are respectful and pleasant. I give the house and the owner 5 stars all the way. Defintely going back.
