4 Bedroom House in Lake Ann

Built in 1960 and remodeled in 2009 this beautiful 4 bedroom home is located on the southeast shore of Lake Ann (great sunsets!) in beautiful Benzie County, MI. This sprawling home has plenty of room with over 3000 square feet of space. It can easily accommodate two families. This home has two (yes, two) full kitchens, a great room and one natural gas fireplace and an additional free standing natural gas heater fireplace.
The home has 2 wings with a large great room in the center. There is living space and kitchen/dining space in each wing. The main wing has a master bedroom which features a king bed and full bath. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and bedroom 3 also has a queen bed. The fourth bedroom, with a full bath, is in the walk out level of the lakeside wing. Also, a trundle bed is available in the lower level walkout family room.
Lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful view! A large utility room complete with washer and dryer is on the main floor. Air conditioning was added to the South Wing living area and master bedroom.
Looking to move outside? You'll have plenty of space with multiple decks covering over 1000 square feet, or move to the shared beach/firepit areas at the waters edge. The kids will enjoy the shallow swimming area adjacent to the boat docks. Water depth of this swimming area is 1ft - 5ft. Don't want to track in sand from the beach? Try our fully-enclosed outdoor shower.
Lake Ann is an all sports lake with no horsepower restrictions. Water skiing , tubing, and fishing are popular activities on Lake Ann. Did we mention the nesting eagles that live on Lake Ann?
3kayaks and a paddleboard are available at no additional cost.

Summary: We had two families stay together and had enough room for all with numerous spots to go if you wanted a little personal/solitude time. The younger crowd had fun in the kayaks and paddle board. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t allow us to use the pontoon… too cold and rainy. But we enjoyed sitting on the deck with the gas fire pit going and talking and having a glass of wine. In short we had a great time!! Mary is terrific to work with and tried to make our stay great. She has powers to do everything but make the sunshine and 80 degrees. We really enjoyed the new kitchen and the whole family spent time there eating meals, playing games, telling stories and even singing. Fun The only thing I would suggest to improve would be that the railing on the deck is loose and wobbly and if someone were to sit on it there could be a dangerous mishap and accident. We had a great time. We’ll be back !!

Summary: We came here for a family vacation. The property was beautiful inside and out, even better than the photos. I appreciated all the extras the owners had in the kitchen and baths. It felt like you were staying in a home as opposed to a rental. The boat was wonderful. We had a blast. I come we can come back soon!

Summary: First of all, Terry and Mary and extremely welcoming and even went as far as getting us a gift card to enjoy at the Lake Ann Brewery! Very thoughtful indeed! This Lake house is much larger than the pictures depict and having two kitchens was a dream for our family! We cooked in one and ate in the other. I have been to many Michigan rentals and Terry and Mary truly have thought of everything! The house was very clean and the beds were quite comfortable. We rented the pontoon and it was worth every penny. A beautiful boat for a wonderful lake. This was not a busy lake, which was exactly what we were looking for! Again, if you wanted something for water fun, it was provided! The fire pit was excellent, the beach area was clean and the neighbors were all very nice and helpful! I give this place 5 stars without one ounce of hesitation. Thanks again for opening your home to my family, we truly enjoyed ourselves.

Summary: We lucked out with the weather and got to enjoy the beach area, water, paddle boards, kayaks, and boat. Very clean lake!! The house had pretty much everything we needed. Comfy sleeping and lots of space for the whole family. Cute little town too. Great accommodations! Terry and Mary were amazing hosts!!

Summary: Perfect place for our group of two families (9 total). Owners were great to work with. Met us at the property upon our arrival to give us a spin around the place! Ideal location proximity to both Lake Michigan and traverse city. Will definitely be back!
