Menomonie, WI is an ideal outdoor destination, home to Red Cedar State Trails, Hoffman Hills, Devils Punch Bowl, and historic downtown Menomonie with boutiques, shops & restaurants/bars.
You are 1/2 mile walking distance to 2 restaurant/bars... Jake's Supper Club and The Pioneer, both have live music all summer long. A 3rd restaurant bar, Elk Point Resort, on the lake is a short drive away.

Summary: Lisa's property was a perfect spot for a girls weekend - everything was clean, the property was a short walk from some great bars/restaurants and the added pontoon rental provided a great activity for our Saturday! We would definitely stay again.

Summary: Our family stayed at Lisa's property for the weekend for our daughter's graduation from UW-Stout. The location was perfect for us because it was close to town, but in a private location so we felt like we were on vacation. The house was very clean which is important to me and contained everything we needed for our stay. Lisa was great to work with. We would definitely stay again if we returned to the area. Highly recommend this property! Thank you for a great stay!

Summary: The pictures truly do not do justice to this house... we were there two nights and could not have been more pleased with our stay. Everything was as the owner stated, and Lisa was VERY communicative and helpful! We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

Summary: It was as advertised, I just didn't read all text close to see that there was a tenant in the basement during the school year. It was not in the handbook that was emailed as I read before we headed out. Teenage kids arrived before us and were hesitant to enter due to the car in the driveway and not knowing if they were in the right spot. Owner responded immediately to text and reiterated situation to me so we entered. Weekend stay was fine, could hear person in lower level on cell-phone calls, music, and daily activity when he was present. We didn't let it detract from the weekend we had planned, enjoyed the outdoor fire pit between the rain drops, had local family join us for game night, and enjoyed time together as a family (old teenagers had fun in the big loft and variety of beds). House was clean, comfortable, and well stocked for a great experience. Thank you.

Summary: A wonderful cozy cabin on the water. It offered everything we needed for our weekend up. There’s a spacious kitchen to cook in, plenty of seating at the dining table or on the deck. The sleeping arrangements were perfect, like going to summer camp. Kids did a little fishing from the dock. Only minor complaint is to have the option to use a coffee maker with a pot. We’re heavy coffee drinkers and single serve doesn’t cut it lol.
